Problem: message "The program can't start...vcljpg70.bpl is missing. Try to reinstall..."
Hi,
I have acquired new pc with win7 preinstalled. To secure, I installed Zone Alarm and Kaspersky Antivirus, both work fine together.
But suddenly Kaspersky anitivirus quarantined the file vcljpg70.bpl and now on startup I get a message that the progam can't start because the file is missing.
I don't know what progam is linked to it nor how to get it back. I tried to restore it from quarantine, but it won't go because of a "QBOperation error" of the antivirus. No idea of what it is either. I tried to export and to copy back to the initial
folder but so far no success.
Access to files is unblocked. Can anyone help, please?

The easiest and fastes way to get information on unknown files is to search the internet:
https://encrypted.google.com/search?q=vcljpg70.bpl&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
Apparently this file is part of a Borland software package:

If you are having problem with Kaspersky antivirus, then go to the Kaspersky Support website and ask them how to use their program. Why would you post on a Microsoft website asking how to use a Kaspersky program? Logic escapes me!Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. this looks like the software is coded in Delphi 7. So undo the block on Kaspersky."A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/

Hi,
Thanks, guys, for your comments. Indeed, I posted my question on Kaspersky too. I hoped to get a hint here on where I can get the missing file from or how can I recover it.
I did google research but I am not an expert in Borland software and couldn't find myself the way out nor understand if it was one of system files and how important it was.
I can't unblock it from Kaspersky, it just shows an error too, while the file is still quarantined.
Now I see that most probably I'll have to do the full system recovery (painful..), as no one has any idea on this problem.

What is the name of the tool when you get the error message? Have you tried to download the file from www.down-dll.com?"A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/

Hey mchudo...
I have same problem, and I got rid off the problem...
Go to
http://www.down-dll.com/index.php?letter=v and
download the file: vcljpg70.bpl when it is downloaded then take and copy the file and put it into the folder: c/windows/SysWOW64 if you have
win7 64bit and just paste the file into that folder.
Sorry if my English is not so good, but I am Danish and not so good to type English. :)
Hope you can use that answer that I came whit.

Thanks. Even if it is in English, it works.
